A fire believed to have been set by an intruder, partially damaged a few classrooms and the cafeteria at the Toco Secondary School on Wednesday morning.
The incident reportedly took place before classes began today and students and teachers were notified about the incident and of the closure of school for the day.
It is not yet clear how many classrooms were affected and the extent of the damage.
A Newsday report states that items were also stolen from the school cafeteria.
