Farmer Nappy is all ready and prepared to get locked up during this period, which would normally be set aside for our Carnival Festivities.
With his ‘Backyard Jam’ one of the most popular soca tracks on air, Nappy would have been “eating ah food” and earning some serious cash, had it not been for the postponement of Carnival this year, due to the pandemic.
However, during a chat with izzso, Nappy said he has to earn a living and is prepared to get locked up doing so.
He told us that he has been performing at a few backyard events on the low and has no problems with doing so.
Nappy pointed out that between now and Ash Wednesday, people will be having events and he believes that the Prime Minister should widen the numbers in order for events to be held legally, so as not to have things get out of hand.
The soca star even gave his take on the virtual events trend.
However, on the issue of NCC not hosting any virtual events for the “Carnival”, Nappy said that was craziness as all landmark events such go on.
