There will be an extension of the demolition works on the Old San Fernando Magistrates’ Court located at Harris Promenade, Harris and Lord Streets, San Fernando.
The demolition works, originally scheduled for completion on November 12, 2023, will result in the continued disruption to vehicular traffic due to the movement of heavy-duty demolition equipment and crane operations.
Accordingly, Harris Street, from Lord Street to Knox Street, will be cordoned off by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, from 6.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m., on the following days:
- Saturday, 25th November to Sunday, 26th November 2023
- Saturday, 2nd December to Sunday, 3rd December 2023
- Saturday, 9th December to Sunday, 10th December 2023
- Sunday 16th December 2023.
The Judiciary advises that normal operations will resume on Monday, December 17, 2023 and apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused.
