American rapper Tyga, yesterday leaked explicit photos of himself onto the adult platform Onlyfans for the delight of his fans.
Onlyfans has become wildly popular during the pandemic as most celebrities are using the site to post PG-rated photos, videos and to increase their appeal .
Almost immediately after Tyga began posting photos, they popped up all over social media, as desirous subscribers can view Tyga’s wild content for $20US a month.
“It’s a new platform where I can talk directly to my fans and give them exclusive music, pics, videos and other BTS of my latest releases,” the “Taste” rapper said in a statement in September, adding, “They can really see more inside my life than ever before, and an intimate look of what I do every day. It’s ‘bout to be lit!”
“His nudes didn’t ‘leak’ his funds are drying up, the perfect excuse to create an onlyfans page to get paid….u ain’t slick Tyga,” wrote one observer.
Tyga, real name Micheal Ray Stevenson, (a backronym for Thank you God always), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and television personality.
After a number of independent releases, Tyga signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records in 2008. His major label debut Careless World: Rise of the Last King was released in 2011 and included the successful singles “Rack City”, “Faded” featuring Lil Wayne, “Far Away” featuring Chris Richardson, “Still Got It” featuring Drake, and “Make It Nasty”.
He revived his career in May 2018 with his single, “Taste” featuring Offset, peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, being his first Top 40 single since “Ayo” with Chris Brown in 2015. That single would later serve as the lead single for his seventh album Legendary, which was eventually released in 2019.
