Entire TSTT board should resign says Tancoo

On the heels of the removal of Lisa Agard as TSTT CEO, Opposition MP Davenand Tancoo is now calling for the entire board of the telecommunications company to resign.

He is also demanding that a promised report on the recent cyber attack be made public.

TSTT’s board on Tuesday announced that Kent Western had replaced Agard, mere days after she apologised to customers for the October 9 cyber attack that saw the data of hundreds of customers stolen and dumped on the dark web.

Tancoo said, “While customers of TSTT whose information was leaked into the public domain as a result of TSTT’s recent cyberattack may feel vindicated by the recent removal of Ms Agard, and although this may seem a step in the right direction, it is not enough.

“The Minister of Public Utilities must, as promised, release the report which forms the basis on which TSTT took action (on the cyber attack). As a consequence of Ms Agard’s removal and replacement, Minister Marvin Gonzales must deliver on his promise to make the report publicly available, without delay.
