Chairman of the Employers’ Consultative Association, Keston Nancoo, says the E.C.A. is joining with two other organizations to help do its part in addressing gender-based violence in Trinidad and Tobago.

The ECA is working with the United Nations Population Fund and the International Labour Organization, Decent Work Team and Office for the Caribbean as an implementing partner for an ongoing project called Spotlight.

Spotlight is a global programme funded by the European Union in collaboration with the United Nations.

Mr Nancoo said the venture is aimed at eliminating all forms of Gender based violence and family violence, especially violence against women and girls.

The ECA Chairman also revealed why the organization decided to do what it can on this serious topic.
