The Environmental Management Authority is advising of the recommencement of its Noise Variation Process as part of the Noise Pollution Control Rules.
This comes as the economy re-opens on April 4th 2022 with the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions.
In a media release on Thursday, the EMA reminded citizens, business owners, party promoters of daytime limits: Monday to Sunday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, night-time limits: on Mondays to Sundays of every week from 8.00 pm to 8.00 am daily, environmentally sensitive areas, industrial areas, when to apply for a noise variation permit and actions to take for noise pollution.
