Fire officials in Tobago are trying to ascertain the cause of a fire, which claimed the life of an elderly woman this morning .
Reports are that the Golden Lane, Tobago home of 97-year-old Christine Neptune-John was completely destroyed and her life was claimed in the process.
A social media post stated that neighbours were awakened by the sounds of her screams at approximately 4:00 am, and although they and the fire service responded as quickly as they could, the raging fire just could not be contained.
