The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission is currently investigating power outage across several parts of Trinidad.
Residents from both East and Central Trinidad began complaining on social media about the power outage.
Some of the areas include: Couva, Charlieville, Plum Mitan, Chaguanas, Sangre Grande, North Oropouche, Vega De Oropouche, Valsayn North, St. Augustine South.
T&TEC General Manager Kelvin Ramsook in an interview with Guardian Media said, their independent power producers have incurred a problem.
The power outage took place around 7 PM, and some areas have been restored.
