A 71-year-old was arrested and charged for driving under the influence and is set to appear before the court today.
The El Socorro man was detained on Saturday by Fraud Squad detectives.
The officers were driving along the Northbound Lane of the Uriah Butler Highway near the Caroni Flyover, when they saw a silver Toyota Rav 4 swerving on the road.
They were able to get the man to pull onto the shoulder and a breathalyzer showed a breath-alcohol concentration of 63 micrograms, which is 28 micrograms over the legal limit.
