An early morning walk did not go as scheduled for a 68-year-old Arima man, after he was robbed of cash by a lone bandit.
Police said the man was walking along Killawan Avenue, Tumpuna Road, around 6.15 am on Wednesday when he saw a man in a hoodie walk past him.
The suspect then attacked the elderly man from behind, pushed him to the ground and kicked him several times.
The thief then dug into the man’s pants pockets and stole $100 cash and a bank card, before running away.
