Official information from yesterday’s Local Government Elections should be available to the public by the close of business today.
This according to the Chief Election Officer at the Elections and Boundaries Commission, Fern Narcis-Scope.
She gave the assurance while speaking yesterday on Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show.
She indicated that the EBC will be in a position to provide the nation with information on the turnout of Monday’s local government elections by the close of business today.
Final official results may take a while longer as candidates interested in a recount have until noon today to ask for one to be carried out.
