Da Silva to lead TT Red Force

Joshua Da Silva will lead the T&T Red Force team in the 2024 West Indies Championship.

The 25-year-old was part of the West Indies team that defeated Australia in the 2nd Test at Brisbane on Sunday.

Da Silva, who scored an important 79 in the first innings of the match and too six catches, has played 26 Tests for the West Indies.

The wicketkeeper-batsman has also captained the West Indies “A” team on tours of Bangladesh and South Africa.

Off-spinner Bryan Charles has been appointed team vice-captain.

The full team was released today by the T&T Cricket Board.

The 2024 West Indies Championship is set to begin in February, with the opening three rounds running from February 7th to 24th.
