Two men were arrested for possession of marijuana during an anti-crime exercise in Siparia on Sunday night.
Officers from the South Western Division stopped a white Laurel vehicle along Quinam Road with two male occupants in the car. The search resulted in officers finding 1.2 kilogrammes of marijuana in three plastic bags which were on the back seat. The drug has an estimated street value of $12,000. The men are aged 39- and 32-years-old and reside in Happy Hill, Siparia.
Investigations are continuing.
