Former Health Minister Dr Fuad Khan is blasting the Government for its approach to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking on Power 102 Fm Digital this morning, Dr Khan noted that the country is not fully opened up compared to other countries in the world.
He pointed out that the Government should be focusing on a wellness programme rather than lockdowns.
He added that Government’s approach of lockdowns has actually increased the risk of death from the virus.
The former health minister alleged that the numbers being attributed to COVID deaths are inaccurate.
He suggested that the death numbers are being used a marketing tool for the pharmaceutical companies.
