Food Groups T&T: Tender Juicy Delicious Braised Chicken in Herb infused Tomato sauce

BRAISED CHICKEN in Tomato sauce.
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 Chicken Breast or other pieces
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Tbsp each of Chopped chives, celery and garlic
¼ cup white cooking wine
2 cups tomato sauce
PREPARATION:
1. Wash And season the chicken pieces with the combination of chopped herbs, salt and pepper
2. Allow to marinate for at least two hours
3. Heat a heavy bottom skillet place a little oil and place the chicken pieces in to sear
4. Allow the chicken pieces to brown evenly on all sides, then remove
5. Deglaze the pan with some white cooking wine
6. Add the tomato sauce and allow to simmer until flavors ar infused
7. Place chicken in the sauce, cover and place in a 350-F oven to finish
8. About fifteen minutes
