COVID-19 Takes Six More Lives Locally.

Six more persons have passed away due to COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

This brings the overall number of deaths from the virus locally to one thousand, four hundred and thirty-two.

In its latest clinical update Wednesday afternoon, the Ministry of Health said there have been two hundred and eighty five new positive cases.

It said there are two hundred and eighty-three patients in hospital with the virus.

In terms of home-self isolation there are three thousand, four hundred and forty-five persons.

In state quarantine facilities there are one hundred and ten patients.

At step down facilities there are sixty-nine patients.

The Ministry said total active positive cases stand at four thousand and eighty-two.

The update said forty-three thousand, five hundred and ninety patients have recovered from the virus locally.
