Route II: Follow curfew regs – gov’t ought to consider front line workers who travel

President of the Route Two Maxi Taxi Association, Linus Phillip, is urging operators to comply with the 9pm to 5am curfew hours under the State of Emergency now in effect.

The senior R.T.M.T.A. official admonition comes on the heels of reports of eight red band maxi taxi drivers being held on Wednesday for breaching the curfew.

In an interview with IzzSo Media this afternoon the Route Two Maxi Taxi Association Head made the appeal. 

Mr. Phillip suggested the government put transportation arrangements in place to ensure frontline workers are properly covered during the curfew period.
