Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, describes as Code Red the countries which contribute significantly to pollution of the environment.
Prime Minister Mottley made the remark while being interviewed on CNN this week, following her speech at the COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.
Prime Minister Mottley appealed to the United States, India and China to do what is required to address the situation as quickly as possible.
The impact of climate change in the Caribbean was another area highlighted by Prime Minister Mottley adding its impact is affecting livelihood, people and various sectors.
