The promotion was held in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2024 and called on customers to spend $50 or more in-store.

Soo Ping Chow, speaking during the prize giving ceremony on Monday, 15th April, 2024, said he never won anything in his life, and was elated and thankful to Cookie Crust owner Michelle Borel for persuading him to enter and be afforded the opportunity of a chance.

He said his decision was also due in part to his sister, who he said is a hard working and kind woman.

Soo Ping Chow said: “I want to thank Michelle (Borel) for encouraging me to take part and celebrate the tough cookies in our lives, the successful, hardworking, multi talented women out there, like my sister Maria who has been a true example of great woman.”
