Energy Minister Franklin Khan died of a heart attack and not due to any adverse effect due to him taking a Covid vaccine, as speculated by the public.
Minister of Communications and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Symon de Nobriga made the confirmation to the Newsday, saying “Franklin Khan had a history of heart problems and “It has been confirmed that he died of a heart attack.”
Regarding funeral arrangements, de Nobriga said “I’ve not been part of any conversation regarding funeral arrangements,” but he expected news within a few days.
PNM PRO Laurel Lezama-Lee Sing said she too has yet to receive official word on that, saying that information would come from the family, Mrs Laura Khan.
