Christmas Day protest planned by OWTU and former Lennox Petroleum workers

The Oilfields Workers Trade Union says former workers of Lennox Petroleum will be continuing their protest action in front of the company office at Princess Margaret Street, San Fernando, today (Christmas Day) from 10am.

The OWTU says while Christmas is a time for showing love, looking out for one another and celebrating with family and friends, this unfortunately is not the case for the former Lennox Petroleum workers.

OWTU claims the management of Lennox Petroleum has refused to comply with a lawful court judgment.

Speaking with NEWS POWER NOW on Thursday, one of the affected workers spoke of how this matter developed.

The Lennox Petroleum employee also revealed how the situation is impacting the lives of workers.
