Chinatown arches on Charlotte Street are almost complete

The Port-of-Spain City Corporation is continuing its work to rename part of Charlotte Street, ‘Chinatown’.

A Chinatown sign went up this evening, Thursday 24th October at the corner of Park and Charlotte Street.

This following follows an announcement made by the PoS Mayor, Joel Martinez to install archways built by the Shanghai Construction Group.

Mayor Martinez is confident the transformation of Charlotte Street into Chinatown would provide many benefits to the nation’s capital.
