The man held in connection with the gruesome murder of 4-year-old Amarah Lallitte is set be charged following instructions given by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Roger Gaspard.
The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Isan Contant, was arrested on April 8 and remained in police custody since the murder was discovered.
He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
Amarah’s decapitated body was found by her mother at their Fifth Street, Five Rivers, Arouca home, after she returned with the police from filing a report of a domestic disturbance.
