Caribbean Community (Caricom) members were yesterday starting discussions on how to render assistance to the Bahamas as Hurricane Dorian started slowly moving closer to Florida while still continuing to pour torrential rains on many areas in the midst of unimaginable destruction. Seven people are already confirmed dead with one of the main airports completely destroyed and runways submerged.
Prime Ministers from Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and Jamaica have already started mobilizing aid provisions and support to the Bahamian Government and people.
