Businesswoman robbed of $120k in Princes Town

A 36-year-old Princes Town businesswoman was robbed of $120,000 in cash on Friday afternoon.

Around 5:30pm, the woman left her business place and was walking along Bonanza Street, Princes Town, when a man of African descent, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, approached her and announced a robbery.

The woman struggled with the thief and was pushed to the ground.

The suspect made off with her black canvas bag, containing the $120,000 and escaped into a waiting blue Nissan Note vehicle.
