The body of Guaya fishherman Rishi Khemchan has finally been returned from Venezuela.
Khemchan’s body was received by the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard at the border from their Venezuelan counterparts.
According to a report by the Hunters Search and Rescue team, Khemchan’s uncle witnessed the handover
This ends weeks of anguish for his family, fllowing a lot of diplomatic moves.
Khemchan was among four men who went missing on January 31st while on a fishing outing – his body was found on February 10th in mangroves in North Venezuela.
