Biggie’s estate and Ryan Reynolds join forces for unlikely ‘Deadpool’ fashion collab

Biggie’s legacy endures through his estate’s latest venture with clothing brand Silly Humans and a popular Marvel comic book character.

A limited edition Deadpool variant comic featuring The Notorious B.I.G. was released last year. Now, the New York native and the popular character — played by Ryan Reynolds in the movie adaptation — have collaborated again.

On Monday (May 22), Silly Humans’ official Instagram page shared a glimpse of the upcoming drop which includes a hoodie that looks similar to the cover of Deadpool‘s variant comic book featuring the New York rapper.

Currently, no release date has been announced, but it’s likely to happen soon. The news was also shared on Biggie’s Instagram Page, with a clip of Reynolds as the Marvel star cryptically sharing the news.

Despite his death in March 1997, Biggie still maintains a strong presence in culture, with people still finding new ways to celebrate him.

Recently, Timbaland faced major backlash after he shared a clip of himself using AI-generated vocals from the rapper for a new track. However according to the producer, the move was a part of something bigger.

As Timbaland explained to Forbes magazine, he plans to “commercialize artificial intelligence software” with the goal of “revolutionizing how songs are made,” with his latest venture, an AI-inspired voice filter software.

“It’s going to really be a new way of creating and a new way of generating money with less costs,” he said. “I’m already here. This is what I’m doing. I’m going to lead the way.”
