LESTER ROMANY of Main Street, Beetham Gardens, was charged on Sunday 8th November, 2020 for larceny. He is scheduled to appear virtually at the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court on December 1st 2020.
The charge was laid in connection with an incident that occurred on Tuesday 3rd November, 2020. Around 11 am, the victim reported parking his Nissan AD Wagon, with both front windows down, at the CNG pump of the NP
Service Station, Cocoyea. Approximately three minutes later, upon returning to the car, he observed his black Adidas backpack which had been on the front passenger seat, missing.
It contained a sum of cash and a wallet with bank cards.
Investigations continued and the suspect was arrested on Wednesday 4th November, 2020.
He was subsequently charged by PC Ramcharit on Sunday 8th November, 2020.
