Media reports say the Government of Barbados has announced November 30 will no longer be known as Independence Day.
Instead, it will be called Barbados National Day.
This was revealed during a media conference by Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams.
The aim is to combine the Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations.
