Public Trust And Confidence In The Police Service Has Increased Says The Acting Commissioner.

Acting Commissioner of  Police, Gary Griffith, says public trust and confidence in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has increased by over twenty-five percent under his tenure.

The Acting Police Commissioner said his detractors in their last ditch desperate attempt are trying to influence the Merit List and affect the process towards the selection of the Police Commissioner.

The Acting Police Commissioner said eleven percent of the nation does not want to see him return to the leadership position of the TTPS.

Mr Griffith claimed there is a well-orchestrated clandestine mission to undermine him, which uses certain media contacts in the process.
