Christianna Ramdial, 19, mother of 3-year-old Allon Radial continues to mourn the loss of her toddler as he was laid to rest on Saturday.
Ramdial was captured kissing a photograph of her baby as his body was too decomposed for a viewing.
Villagers turned out for Allon’s funeral which was held at Ortoire Village Cemetery in Mayaro on Saturday December 24th, and the service was conducted by Apostle Mervyn Rodriguez of the Dunamis Apostolic Evangelical Assembly.
The remains of the toddler were found at a cove at the end of the Ortoire River Mouth four days ago.
Police are still investigating how the boy came to fall into the river.
Meanwhile the boy’s 19-year-old mother Cristianna Ramdial has been vilified on social media for her choices and lifestyle, and described as an unfit mother who had failed her little boy.
Minister of Social Development and Family Services Donna Cox said that Allon was never registered and his mother had no identification card.
