An early morning shooting in Arouca has claimed the life of 23-year-old man.
Residents reported hearing a series of gunshots around 3:30am this morning, but it wasn’t until 7:30am that the bullet riddled body of Johnathon Braithwaite, aka ‘Polo’ of Persad Street off First Street, Five Rivers, Arouca was found.
The killing took place hours ahead of a prayer symposium to save the youths at a nearby church.
