Tessica Brown Finally Got the Gorilla Glue Out of Her Hair

After going viral throughout the week after putting heavy duty glue in her hair, Tessica Brown has finally had the adhesive removed!

After cutting off her ponytail during the week, Tessica visited plastic surgeon Dr Michael Obeng yesterday (February 10) in Beverley Hills to perform a $12,500 procedure for free — with it reportedly taking four hours to complete.

TMZ documented the surgery and captured the relief Tessica felt after the surgery.

Tessica may need a few more visits to Dr Obeng to ensure the adhesive is completely removed.

This week, the internet has been fascinated and taken in by Tessica Brown’s story. In a devastating case of misjudgement, Tessica used gorilla glue adhesive to lay down her edges instead of gorilla snot hair gel. Her hair has since been stuck in the same style for over a month.Gorilla glue is a DIY product that can be used to stick down furniture such as shelves, cupboards and more.

The Gorilla Glue website states that removal can be done as follows:“Use a towel dampened with acetone or isopropyl alcohol to blot the area. Several applications may be necessary to completely remove the uncured glue.

For removal of cured Gorilla Super Glue from the surface of your project, soak bonded area with warm soapy water or acetone.”Unfortunately though, acetone is tough on the skin which spells trouble for Tessica’s scalp.

Taking to the internet to seek advice, Tessica has used both Instagram and TikTok to share her struggles. She now has over 350K views on Instagram.

In a recently posted Instagram post, Tessica shared that she has now chosen to seek medical help for the removal.
