Alstons Marketing Company Limited (AMCO) has donated 100 cases of Lysol Disinfectant Spray to fifty-four (54) primary and secondary schools as a part of Lysol’s ‘Here for Healthy Back to School’ project, under the Ministry of Education’s Adopt-a-School Initiative.
AMCO’s Head of Consumer Affairs, Karen Critchlow-Thomas and other officials of the company participated in a simple handover ceremony at Ministry of Education on November 4th, 2023. Two of the principals, benefitting from the donation, Mr. Jeewan Ramhanie of Tunapuna Hindu School and Mr. Stephen Gooding of Belmont Boys RC also attended the ceremony and received their supplies of Lysol Disinfectant Spray.
Delivering remarks Dr. the Hon. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly Minister of Education, expressed thanks to AMCO for partnering with the Ministry of Education, “When our corporate citizens donate and they look at what the schools need and they assist, it’s really something that we are happy to accommodate and recognize because every time we recognize contributions, another company corporate sponsor answers the call. So, we say to the corporate world, if you are not helping a school, we have room for you, every corporate citizen can assist.”
AMCO commenced the distribution of the 100 cases of Lysol Disinfectant Spray to the 54 schools on September 2nd, 2023.
