DIl E Nadan becomes the first Caribbean band to perform at Hard Rock Hollywood

History was made in Florida recently as the number one trending Chutney band, Dil-E-Nadan became the first Chutney band to perform at the first-ever Caribbean-themed event to be held at the world-famous Hard Rock Hollywood Casino and Entertainment Center located in Hollywood, Florida.

In curating this monumental achievement, Dil-E-Nadan invited Soca, Reggae and Dancehall Icons, Kees Dieffenthaller and Shaggy to perform also as special guests on the night when Caribbean music took center stage at this prestigious international venue. The band blazed through their catalogue and treated fans to their hit songs, as well as covers of popular Chutney, Soca, Reggae, Dancehall and even Calypso classics through the years.

Dieffenthaller and Shaggy added their own sweet icing to the Chutney crossover cake already being served and definitely enhanced the experience for the fans of Caribbean music who assembled at the scenic and majestic venue.

Following this epic first-time appearance, Raymond Ramnarine and Dil-E-Nadan (DEN) also performed at “One Fete” in Hollywood, Florida, alongside many of the top Soca acts and performers from the islands and for a “Sold Out” audience of approximately 7000 patrons.

“I have always been a big fan of Shaggy’s music while growing up,” Ramnarine admitted to Overtime Media recently. “This is the second time we have performed together and I’m happy it was on such a groundbreaking occasion at the Hard Rock. Florida is always good to us and this time was no exception. Miami Carnival is evolving also, so we wanted to do some different things and well this year, you can see we are taking a different approach overall, in terms of the music, our image, our performances and even the type of shows and venues. Caribbean music and culture is a worldwide phenomenon and the interest and attention it’s getting is only growing and increasing as our artisans continue to experiment and improve, mature and showcase their talents… Our time is coming soon!”

The band teamed up with hit-producer, Mevon “Xplicit Mevon” Soodeen, Kit Israel and Stemz Productions for their first release of 2024 entitled ” All Inclusive”, which has already received thousands of views across all social media platforms and is fast becoming a Carnival favourite.

Having just returned from two international performances in Spain following Miami Carnival, Ramnarine and DEN are also getting set to release more new music for the Christmas and Carnival season.

“Fans can look forward to seeing Raymond and DilENadan for Carnival 2024,” said Richard Ramnarine. “As always, we are aiming to be a staple in the Carnival season and you can look forward to partying and enjoying the season with us at the most prestigious All Inclusive events.”
