Enquiries are currently underway into the murder of an alleged gang leader and his second in command during an incident in Carenage on Friday night.
Dead is 30-year-old Khalife Kenrick Pierre aka Philly and 29-year-old Levi Ryan Williams, aka Killer Pig, both from Malick, Barataria.
Reports state that the two were part of a group of friends liming at L’Anse Mitan Road, Carenage, around 11pm, when a gunman approached and opened fire.
Pierre and Williams were hit, while the others escaped.
Both were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
