Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Clarence Rambharath, says part of the Five Hundred Million dollars allocated to agriculture in the recent budget will go towards ensuring better access roads for farmers, digital transformation and providing incentives for young people to get involved in the sector.
Minister Rambharath revealed how some of the funds will be spent to get improved agriculture access roads.
Minister Rambharath said action will also be taken to address the climbing food import bill.
