Minister of Agriculture Clarence Rambharat says additional resources reserved for his Ministry will fund some 32 projects that have been earmarked for completion by the Government.
He told the Power Breakfast Show on Wednesday that while there have been many questions surrounding the extra $5 million given to the Agriculture Ministry the money will support various projects.
He said that he has long been a supporter of buying local.
The Minister sought to clarify a report in a newspaper concerning money spent on imported goods.
He said the onus is on local shoppers.
