West Indies Triumphs Over UAE In One Day International Series

West Indies cricketers won the three match one-day international series against United Arab Emirates in Sharjah today.

Set 185 to win, playing in the third and final game, the Caribbean side reached 185 for 6 from 35.1 overs in the 50 over match.

On debut, Alick Athanaze, had a top score of 65 runs for the regional squad.

His innings included nine boundaries and three sixes.

Earlier, player of the match, Kevin Sinclair, took four wickets for 24 runs from 7.1 overs to help restrict the home team for 184 all from 36.1 overs.

Vriitya Aravind top scored for UAE made 70 from 75 runs including eight fours and one six.

West Indian Brandon King received the Player of the Series Award.
