Thirty-four year old, Keniston Johnson, dies in a fire at a house located at No. 4 Akal Road, Off Bushe Street, Petit Bourg today.
The blaze took place around at approximately 7:21am.
The fire service said when its officers from Wrightson Road Division arrived on the scene they saw fire emanating from a ground floor apartment.
The apartment building housed fourteen persons.
Responding officers commenced firefighting operations to extinguish the blaze but during the operation a body was discovered inside the apartment.
