Thirty bands have qualified for the Single Pan Semi-Finals which are scheduled to take place on Saturday 25th November, 2023, at 4 PM at the Arima Velodrome, Arima.
Chord Masters Steel Orchestra from the Eastern region topped the standing with 277 points with their rendition of Doctor Cassandra.
They were followed by Newtown Playboys from the Northern region playing Pan in Minor which earned them 268 points.
In third was San Juan East Side Symphony doing a selection called Big Belly Man with 266 points.
Pan Trinbago hosted the Opening of the Score Sheets at the V.I.P. Lounge, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, with the event broadcasted on Facebook Live.
The Single Pan Preliminaries were held over six-days and spanned four regions.
The competition featured performances by forty-five Single Pan Steelbands which showcased musical excellence, camaraderie, and an infectious energetic spirit.
The Single Pan Finals are scheduled to be hosted at 6PM on December 3rd, 2023, at The Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.
This will be followed by the Small Band category, among others, in the lead-up to the Panorama 2024 Competition.
