In what is suspected to be a gang related incident, three men were shot in Santa Cruz on Tuesday afternoon.
The victims all hail from La Canoa Road in Santa Cruz and are aged 23, 25, and 35.
Around 1pm, the men were said to be in a silver Toyota Fielder proceeding west along the roadway, when upon reaching the vicinity of Seaut D’Eaut Road, a white Nissan Wingroad collided with them and three masked men exited.
The suspects then opened fire on the Fielder and then returned to the Wingroad they arrived in and drove off.
All three occupants of the Fielder were shot and were rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for treatment.
Police recovered 37 spent 5.56mm shells on the scene and later found the Wingroad used by the gunmen abandoned along Monroe Road in Santa Cruz.
