Upgrade and construction works at the Persto Praesto Youth Development Apprenticeship Centre, formerly known as the Persto Praesto Youth Camp at La Cuesa Road, Freeport will get underway on Tuesday.
It will be spearheaded by Youth Development and National Service Minister, Foster Cummings.
The Persto Praesto YDAC, which traditionally accommodated youth and provided technical vocational skills training in a residential two-year programme, as well as a holistic development and empowerment programme, is one of three facilities earmarked for upgrades.
Chief Executive Officer of the National Maintenance Training and Security Company Limited, Lennox Rattansingh, will also bring remarks.
