A WPC responding to a murder call was shot in the stomach.
According to several reports, the female officer, Cpl. Cudjoe-Joseph responded to a call at Phase 6, La Horquetta just after 1pm on Sunday.
The officer visited the scene and attempted to contain the situation when Garrick Thomas St. Clair grabbed the officer’s firearm and shot the officer in her stomach.
The gunman was then shot and killed by another officer on the scene.
The WPC is currently undergoing surgery in hospital.
