Police were on the scene early this morning following an accident at the Trinidad Cement Ltd (TCL) plant in Mayo that led to a man’s death.
He has been identified as Garvin Ramoutar.
According to initial reports around 4 am he was pulled into a machine and crushed.
Investigations are still ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following the incident, operations at the plant had grounded to a halt.
