Chaguanas CID are investigating an early morning shooting attack which has left a 34-year-old Chaguanas woman nursing gunshot wounds.
Around 3:45am, the woman was liming with her boyfriend at her Tobago Road, when two men walked into the yard; one had a gun.
The gunman shot at the couple hitting the woman in her right shoulder.
The woman ran for cover as the gunmen escaped.
She was taken to hospital where she was treated and remained warded in stable condition as of Tuesday.
Crime scene investigators also visited the house and found 26 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
