West Indies will resume play after lunch on Day one of the opening test match against India at Windsor Park, Dominica on 68 runs for the loss of four wickets.
The Caribbean side won the toss and decided to bat first.
They lost Captain Kraigg Brathwaite for 20 runs, Tagenarine Chanderpaul 12, Raymon Reifer 2 and Jermaine Blackwood 14.
