Legal action is being considered by Political Leader of the Progressive Democratic Patriots, Watson Duke, following the move by THA Chief Secretary, Farley Augustine and other members of the party to resign and become independents.
Mr Duke says the Augustine led fraction of the PDP have not lived up to the mandate which was given to it by the people.
Speaking on his Facebook Page on Monday night, Mr Duke said he has already spoken to his lawyers on this matter and by early next week the public can begin to see legal action in this development.
Mr Duke said he is of the view there is need for fresh election due to the development.
