Life Guards Appeal For More Manpower And Resources Man Nation’s Beaches

Patrol Captain at Maracas Bay, Karl Hernandez, is appealing for more manpower and resources for life guards.

Mr Hernandez insists this is necessary to properly carry out their work at the nation’s beaches.

Government has already given an undertaking to address the concerns raised by the life guards in the past.

Speaking with News Power Now on Monday, Mr Hernandez said about forty life guards are needed to efficiently man the beaches of Maracas, Tyrico and Las Cuevas.

Mr Hernandez also proposed consideration is given to having an ambulance on location as well as jet skis.
